If I got to talk to our founding fathers I would have to compliment them on some things but also tell them how they could write the amendments better. What was good about the amendments was that they gave us 5 freedoms. They are the freedom of speech, press, religion, petition and assembly. Also they gave us the right to bear arms, but they put a license on it so that not just anyone could have a firearm. Some things that they should have done was make a rule on government spending or put a stop to racism. 

One of the great things they did was give us the 5 freedoms. The best freedoms that I think they gave us were the freedoms of speech, religion and press. The freedom of speech gives us the freedom to say what we want. Religion is another freedom that we get and that means we can believe in whatever we want and go to whatever church we want. Press is another one and that gives the press freedom to say or post whatever they want.Those are really good to have in a country because it would not be good to have everyone forced to be the same religion and not be allowed to say things or write and post things without permission.

Another great thing that our founding fathers did was give us the right to bear arms. That allows soldiers and police men to carry around weapons. Men without a right to bear arms are not supposed to buy weapons. Though they aren't supposed to be able to purchase them some online sites still let them. I think it's bad to let anyone buy guns because crazy people can randomly go into a store and steal stuff or shoot people. People like those make this world unsafe so this rule really helps with bad people.

Some things that they could have also done was put a rule against racism or put a limit on government spending. I think that a limit on government spending would be appropriate. It would not let us go into a super high debt like we are in now and it would stop wasteful spending. A stop to racism and people would not be made fun of anymore. To do this we could put a fine if you are caught for racism and that fine could go to the government to bring us money to pay our debt.

As you can see there are some things that our founding fathers did right, but they also could have done a better job on what they enforced. They helped our country in some ways but could have done more.
