The Packers Past and Present

Author's note: This was an essay that I wrote to tell you why the Packers are the best NFL team ever. They have one so many things and did so well that they are considered the best team in the NFL.

The Packers are the best team in football! There are a lot of football teams that say they are the best but the Packers truly are. They have won 13 NFL championships. No other team has won 13 NFL Championships which proves that the Packers are the best team in history.

For one example was the Packers 1960-70 team. They won two Super Bowls and three NFL Championships. They were led by star quarterback Bart Starr and Paul Hornung the halfback. They also had Vince Lombardi who’s one of the best coaches in history. When he died he later had the Super Bowl trophy renamed after him.

Another example is the Brett Favre era. He led them to only one Super Bowl but gave them many wins. Later in his career he made history with most passing yards in his career. Though Brett Favre did really well he didn’t win those games alone. He had an all-star defender in Reggie White and Desmond Howard.

Finally there is right now. On the Green Bay Packers there is the quarterback Aaron Rodgers, three great wide receivers, an amazing running back and one great tight end. They won last year’s Super Bowl and are on a great start to try and repeat. Last year you couldn’t forget about the defense though. They forced so many turnovers and some led to touchdowns. That’s what kept them as contenders last year.       

The team to beat right now is the Packers they are the best. Everyone should know that they are the best.
